Initiative for community Advancement, Relief and Empowerment (ICARE), an NGO ( Non Governmental Organization) is currently recruiting for the position of Credit Officers.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparing Credit Application and Evaluating Clients’ Financial Information
  • Assessing and Maintaining Existing and Potential Clients
  • Documentation of Existing/New Clients Contact Details and Ensure That the Register Is Updated
  • Collection of Clients’ Feedback on Products and Services and Ensure All Complaints/Queries Are Dealt with Appropriately.
  • Attend to Walk-In Customers While in The Branch and Provide Excellent Customer Service.
  • Visitation to Groups/ Batches on Daily/Weekly Basis to Collect Savings and Credit Installments.
  • Prepare A Monthly and Quarterly Credit Plan for The Organized Groups.
  • Deposit the Money Collected from Groups to The Bank.
  • Maintain the Co Register Book on Daily Basis and Sign the Attendance and Movement Register Each Time Before Leaving the Office.
  • Sign the Actual Amount Collected from Each Group in The Group Register.
  • Marketing and Promoting the Organization to New and Prospective Clients
  • Contribute to The Profitability of The Branch by Meeting Individual Sales Target.
  • Submit Daily Collection Reports as At When Required.

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum of OND/NCE
  • Experience: 0-1year
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good customer relationship skills
  • Good communication and drafting skills
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication
  • Excellent team player
